Do you have a shop?No, at present we are based online. We offer a try on service to all our customers where we can bring a selection of items to your home/work address for you to try on.

How do I book a Try On Service?It's super easy to organize a try on service with us! Click the Try On Service tab, scroll to the end of the page and add 'Try On Service to your cart. Insert your request rental item, the date of the event and your size into the comment box to the left of the shopping cart page.

How does the Try On Service work?Living in the Dublin/Wicklow area? We offer a direct delivery service by dropping the dress straight to your door or at a location that suits you! We offer this service to ensure that you are happy with the items, in terms of size and fit prior to paying the full rental amount. Our Try On Service costs €20 (€10 for the try on service and €10 delivery/collection charge/ postage) and we usually get you to try on the items there and then. If you decide to go ahead with the items, we will either leave them with you (depending on how close your try on session is to your event) or drop them back to you a couple of days prior to your event. Living outside of Dublin / Wicklow? We can offer you our postal service where we send the items to try on by registered post, which is next day following dispatch and comes with a tracking number. If selected, you will also need to pay for and return the dresses to us by registered post and send us the tracking number by email. Our Try On Service can be booked through our website https://www.borrowerboutique.com/try-on-service. Please select the option that suits you best at checkout, either delivery or postage! There is also an option for a collection used for special circumstances and must be pre arranged. *Please contact us by email to arrange collection from our warehouse at borrowerboutique@gmail.com. If you decide to place a booking for the item you have tried on, it can be booked through our website www.borrowerboutique.com. Simply select the item you wish to borrow and insert your rental date in the comment box at checkout.

Does the price include dry cleaning?We have partnered with a dry cleaning company so we take care of the dry cleaning for you, it's cheaper and convenient! The cost of the dry cleaning is the customers responsibility. As each garment will be a different price, we will inform you of the cost of the dry cleaning prior to borrowing. Please note that some items include the dry cleaning cost already. Just ask us if you're not sure!

What happens if I damage the item I have borrowed?All rental items are inspected prior and after your rental. A damage fee may be applied where items are stained, torn or not returned in the appropriate condition.

Can I collect the item I wish to borrow?Yes, a collection arrangement can be made. Location may vary depending on the item. We currently have locations in the Dublin city centre as well as Co. Wicklow. Please note that this needs prior confirmation and at least 24 hours notice.

Is there a cancellation fee?Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the drop off day will not be refunded. If you decide to place a booking for an event within 48 hours, the booking will not be refundable once the item is received and paid for by the customer. All other orders placed without the use of our Try On Service will not be refunded once the item has been received by the customer. It is our highest recommendation that you avail of our Try On Service before placing your booking. You will only be charged the Try On Service fee if you decide not to rent an item after try on.

Do you cater for last minute rentals?Yes! Please send us an email with the dress you wish to borrow and we will do our best to accommodate your booking. This is dependant on dress availability.

How long can I rent an item for?Each situation is different and during peak times, we will ask for the item to be returned as soon as possible. All arrangements can be made via email (borrowerboutique@gmail.com). Typically rentals last 7 days from the date of the customer receiving the item to date of us receiving the item back, unless specified otherwise. If you would like to borrow an item or items for holiday, whether it is a weekend, week or a few weeks, please get in touch. Additional fees may be applied.

What happens if the dress isn't a perfect fit upon delivery?We strongly recommend everyone to avail of our Try On Service. This means you can make sure that the dress will be a perfect fit! In cases where the Try On Service is not available, we will send you the measurements of the item.

Can you purchase any of the items to keep forever?Our items are only available to borrow! However, we do sell off our older stock. If there is something you're interested in, send us an email: borrowerboutique@gmail.com. We also sell some of our old stock on Depop. Username: johannadooley.
